UGC NET December Details, Eligibility & Qualification
Educational Qualification
- Minimum 55% marks in Postgraduate/Master’s degree (50% for SC/ST/PWD/Third Gender).
- Candidates in the final year of their Master’s program or awaiting results can also apply.
Age Limit
- No age limit for Assistant Professor and Ph.D. admissions.
- For JRF, the maximum age limit is 30 years as of January 1, 2025.
Exam Pattern
The UGC NET December 2024 examination consists of two sections without any break between them. Both sections contain Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
