For UGT: Senior Secondary (50% marks) with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or Graduation with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
For GT: Graduation (50% marks) with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B.Ed.
Candidates must have passed the Tripura Teachers’ Eligibility Test (T-TET) Paper-I for UGT and Paper-II for GT
